Banff National Park is a treasured World Heritage site. The town of Banff, nestled in the midst of this amazing landscape, is my home. I am spoiled by its charm, its beauty and its proximity to a pristine wilderness called Banff National Park. Around the Town of Banff can be seen, and not just as a preview, some of the more spectacular scenes the Rocky Mountains provide in Canada. At the end of a short walk, or a quick hike, I pinch myself as I get treated to views that bedeck outdoor magazines and populate people's dreams and fantasies. From the comfort of seeing Mt. Rundle and wonder of the ecosystem that is the Vermilion Lakes Banff alone is full of special Rocky Mountain sights presented here.

These images are captured in and around the environs of the town of Banff. Nestled at the junction of 5 Valleys and at the foot of Mt. Rundle Banff is a quintessential mountain town. Lakes close by, mountains standing guard and wildlife on view constantly make Banff as home my great good fortune. And the opportunities for landscape photography abound.
The Rockies are always providing moments. Some of those moments are right out my door and a short walk away. I am constantly going out to be both in and at those moments when they occur. Sometimes Landscapes from Banff, at other times - Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Columbia Icefields, Bow Valley, Wonder Pass, Paradise Valley, Mount Assiniboine, Sunshine Meadows - and all through Banff National Park are the sights I hike to waiting for those Rocky Mountain moments to photograph.
